Garnier Olia Medium Golden Brown Color 5.3 review

Hi everyone!
So, recently Crowdtap sent me a sample of Garnier Olia permanent hair color in the color number 5.3, which is Medium Golden Brown. I had not used this hair color before, so I was really excited to try it out, because the box stands out on store shelves and it is the only hair dye that is made with an exclusive 60% oil blend, with natural flower oils, it has no ammonia in it which means a more pleasant scent during application, and it promises that it gives you brilliant color and visibly healthier hair that is hydrated, silky, and 3x shinier. Time for a healthy change - for your hair! :)

 I really liked the non-drip formula and that it has a nice flowery scent. I also liked that it didn't stain my skin. The application was a little bit more difficult because the shape of the applicator bottle made it easy to slip out of my hand because of the awkward shape and slippery gloves, and it was also difficult to get the rest of the color to come out of the bottle, so I had to open it up to get it out. I definitely recommend two boxes if you have longer hair than shoulder-length hair, because I ran out of color quickly. When rinsing the color out of my hair, the hair already seemed more smooth and conditioned. After the hair was dry it felt really soft and silky, definitely healthier, and I loved the shine.
Here's a before picture (so you can get an idea of what my hair color looked like to begin with) and an after shot. My hair was pretty light with a coppery tone and highlights, so the end result was not as dark as on the hair color box.

I really recommend that you guys try out this hair color, it is very gentle on hair, and available in many great shades!

I recently received a sample of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream complimentary from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes. All opinions expressed here are my own.

I really liked this moisturizing cream! The rich formula gets absorbed quickly, and leaves no greasy residue behind, which is awesome! It provides long-lasting hydration that starts immediately when applied, and helps soothe and heal even severely dry and itchy skin, which makes it a great moisturizer for eczema relief. I love that it is non-irritating, fragrance-free and mild! I even used it on my baby's sensitive skin and it made both of our skin sooo soft and smooth. Cetaphil moisturizing cream contains extra-strength emollients and humectants that are clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss. It's perfect for use on hands, feet, elbows, and I even saw great results using this moisturizer on my face during these cold winter months.

I was very glad I was picked for this Smiley360 mission because I would probably not have bought these myself. I've never had luck buying multivitamins, they were either big pills that were hard to swallow, or they would taste gross, or leave a bad after taste for a while. So usually I'd just rather "forget about them" in the cabinet. When I received my free bottle of Centrum Multigummies, I really liked the bright colors of the bottle they came in and of the vitamin gummies itself. The gummies come in three natural flavors, orange, berries, and cherry, which makes the gummy variety really bright and colorful when you look at the bottle. The bottle states that taking Centrum Multigummies supports energy, immunity, and metabolism. While I have not been able to notice any difference in my energy levels (which may be because I have not been using them just long enough yet, not sure), it is definitely comforting to know I'm doing good for my body and supporting it. The Centrum Multigummies taste fruity and chewy, similar to actual gummy candies, or fruit snacks, which makes them very easy to take (and remember every day!). It's like having a little treat for yourself, which makes me actually look forward to taking them. All three flavors taste delicious, my favorite is the orange, but really I like them all. I also appreciate that they do not have a strange vitamin-y taste, and that they do not leave an unpleasant aftertaste. These gummies easily fit into anyone's lifestyle, they contain no wheat, milk, soy, egg, peanut, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, or shellfish allergens. They are also gluten-free, and made without artificial flavors and sweeteners! Centrum Multigummies are so good for you, packed with essential key nutrients, they provide at least 100% or more of Vitamins B12, D, and E. Even though you may think you eat healthy, adding these to your daily diet will make sure to help you fill in the gaps in your nutrition.

As a member of Influenster I received a free sample of each of the fragrances "Eternity Now" & "Eternity Now For Men" by Calvin Klein. I received these free samples for testing purposes, in order to try them and share my opinion and experience with the product. No other compensation was received and all opinions expressed here are my own.

The first thing I noticed was the impressive VoxBox that Influenster sent the samples in. I love the expressive picture of real-life couple Jasmine Tookes and Tobias Sorensen that expresses their love and emotions for each other.

Upon opening the VoxBox I found my sample sizes of the fragrances. I have used the Eternity Now for women a couple of times now, and I like the fruity, sweet Peonies flowers scent. It is fresh and not too overpowering strong. The strong scent after applying it quickly dissipates and leaves a long-lasting, subtle fragrance, with a hint of cashmere veil. What I did not like is that it doesn't smell very youthful, more of an "older lady" style fragrance. This is not a perfume I would wear daily, but I like it for special occasions.

On the other hand, my husband has tried the Calvin Klein Eternity Now For Men sample, and he likes it a lot. It complements him perfectly, and I love when he wears it. With this fragrance he smells irresistible. It is a clean, fresh, masculine but not musky scent, with wooden under notes. It's the perfect perfume for any type of occasion, either to go out, or to just relax at home with your partner. And just like the wonderful TV commercial and product picture depicts, it makes the both of you reminisce and remember the spark of the moment when you first fell in love. I highly recommend that you try these fragrances. They make the perfect gifts for the upcoming Holiday season as well!

Review of the #FrostyVoxBox from Influenster

In December 2014 I was lucky to get invited to the Frosty Vox Box Campaign from Influenster. I had just found out and signed up for Influenster a couple of weeks prior to being selected for this campaign, that's why I was even more excited to get picked for this campaign.
In late December I received my first Vox Box from Influenster, the #FrostyVoxBox.

The #FrostyVoxBox contained the following variety of products:

I received these items complimentary from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes. After tasting and using these products, here is my honest opinion about each product:

1. As the name suggests, the Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Decaffeinated Holiday Tea from Celestial Seasonings is a perfect cup of tea for the holiday season! It has a nice, subtle, not bitter green tea flavor, together with a fresh minty note, which again is not strong, unlike other candy cane flavored drinks I had tasted before and therefore thought this may be a bad tasting experience. The Celestial  Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Decaffeinated Holiday Tea actually tasted so delicious, I actually wished I had more of. 
   
2. I received one small trial size sachet of the Boots No7 Protect & Perfect ADVANCED Serum. The makers of this anti-aging advanced serum promise that "After 2 weeks, skin looks younger and more radiant; by 4 weeks skin looks clearer, and fine lines are visibly reduced. Results keep getting better with continued use. 80% of women said this serum provided the best anti-aging results they had ever seen.". While I would have loved to find out if these claims are true, the sample I received was far too small to see actual results. All I can say is that this serum felt amazingly soft and smooth when I applied it to my face/neck area. It left no oily residue or anything behind, but left my face feeling and looking refreshed.
   
3. I really liked the McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme. The flavor of this thyme is almost as good as using fresh thyme in your recipes, it really is that good! The use of it is very versatile also, you can use it with all kinds of different types of meats, you can use it in soup and stews, use it on veggies, etc. I actually made a lemon thyme oven roasted chicken, where I used salt, pepper, thyme, garlic and lemon slices inside the roast chicken, and I also seasoned the outside of the chicken with salt, pepper and thyme, and basted the chicken with a paprika and melted butter mixture. The chicken tasted really amazing and my whole family enjoyed it. This thyme is all around a perfect addition to anyone's spice collection in the kitchen!
   
4. I liked the NYC Expert Last Lip Color that I received. It feels nice and soft on my lips, moisturizes, and OH, the SHEEN of this lipstick! I like how shiny it looks. I'm usually not much of a lipstick wearer because they usually feel "thick" and "heavy" on my lips, which I just cannot stand. This one though feels light-weight, you barely notice you are wearing it. I liked the #SugarPlum color of the lipstick, it is not too dramatic and definitely suitable to wear for every day occasions. It doesn't last super long, though, but I still recommend this lipstick and I plan on buying a few more colors soon.
   
5. The Fruit Vines Bites Strawberry were really tasty! They are a bite-size, chewy, low fat and preservative-free snack, which you don't have to feel guilty about eating and sharing with your whole family. The size is just right to snack on, and the flavor is really rich and fruity. Definitely going to pick up some more for my family, since they found a new favorite!
   
6. The next product to review is the Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover. This eye make up remover is gentle enough to use for contact wearers and people with sensitive eyes. It does not sting or irritate the eyes. It also claims on its package to "gently remove all eye make up, including long-lasting and waterproof formulas". While I think it worked quite well for regular make up, I have to say it did not work well for waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I resorted to washing my face off with my regular face wash, or even just with water and soap, which is why I would not really recommend buying it.
   
7. Now, on to the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal eyeliner: I absolutely love this eyeliner! For the firt time in forever, I was able to draw perfect, smudge-free lines on my upper eyelids, thanks to the smooth, creamy texture which made it super easy to apply. The shade is a nice and deep black, which makes my eyes just pop! I have received so many compliments wearing this eyeliner! The 'waterproof-ness' seems to be very true, since not even the Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover I received together with this product was unable to remove this eyeliner completely. This may be the only downside t this eyeliner, that it is a little hard to take off completely. No matter how much you think you cleaned it off well enough, the net morning you usually wake up and have black under eye smudges. But nothing a regular face washing or shower in the morning won't take care off. I really DO LIKE this eyeliner a lot, and I already plan on buying more colors of it soon.
   
8. My overall favorite item of the #FrostyVoxBox is, hands down!, the EcoTools Styler + Smoother Hair Brush! I was so happy to see this great hair brush in the box! For far too long I've been putting off buying a new hair brush because I just had no clue which would be best and really work. The EcoTools Styler + Smoother Hair Brush features a versatile half-round design, which can be used just like you would use a round brush. It has a cushioned pad and soft bristles for easy detangling and smoothing of your hair, without ever hurting your scalp or ripping your hair. Hair brushing time in our house is definitely easier since we received this brush! My daughters have also long hair and they really love this brush too. No one ever even looks at our old hair brush. With the Eco-Vent aerodynamic design of the EcoTools Styler + Smoother Hair Brush you can blow-dry your hair 20% quicker, promises the EcoTools brand, hence resulting in less heat damage and faster hair styling. I rarely use the blow dryer for my hair, so I can't attest to this claim. I really like the design of the brush though, the bamboo handle is very elegant looking, it feels nice and smooth in your hand, and is yet a light-weight brush. One statement that the EcoTools made about their company's story on their website, which stood really out to me and made me appreciate and like this company even more, is the following: "We are inspired by beauty inside and out and in the world around us. While we always want to look our best, we feel great when we can make earth-conscious choices. Our products are inspired by the nature around us and instill the beauty that is nature." First of all, my children love milk and especially chocolate milk! They were beyond excited when I told them about the TruMoo BzzCampaign and could not wait to get their hands on a cup of TruMoo! We have never tried it before, so we were all very excited to see how it measures up to their usual chocolate milk they are used to drink. I was supposed to find the special, Halloween limited edition TruMoo orange colored Vanilla Milk, but had a hard time finding the TruMoo brand at all in my stores that I shop at for groceries and other necessities. I finally found TruMoo Chocolate milk and decided to go with that one instead. My children couldn't wait to get home after grocery shopping to have some of the TruMoo Chocolate milk, and all you could hear was "Mmmmmmhh!!!" and "Yummy, I want MORE! This is SO GOOD!". :) The thing they loved most about it was the rich chocolate flavor, and they said they thought it was actually a chocolate milkshake, because it was so creamy and delicious. I was allowed to try some as well ;) and I must say that the texture and richness, the creaminess and thickness is very delicious. It makes it an awesome treat! Also, there was no aftertaste at all. And of course, besides the great taste and all, there are other interesting facts to talk about when it comes to what's actually in TruMoo! I am always checking and making sure that my children do not get overloaded on sugary drinks and snacks, and especially do not consume too much high fructose corn syrup containing products in their diet.
