I love being a BzzAgent as I get the opportunity to participate in BzzCampaigns and try products for free while in return I will share my opinion about these products.

This time I was lucky enough to get picked for the Frederic Fekkai BzzCampaign. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my BzzKit, which included full-size 8oz. bottles of Fekkai Technician Color Care shampoo and conditioner, also included were samples of the Fekkai Glossing cream for me to pass along to friends and family, a BzzAgent letter, and a Fekkai brochure and DVD with information about Frederic Fekkai and his line of hair care products.

The first thing I like to do when seeking out a new shampoo and conditioner is checking out the scent. And I have to say, the grapefruit-like smell of both products is irresistible! The bottles were sleek in their appearance and handy with a simple pop-up lid for easy dispensing. And don’t let the small size of the bottles fool you, these products are so rich, luxurious and sufficient, you will be able to use much less than other products you may be used too! I have used both products for quite a while now, at least several weeks, and I still have more than half the bottles of both products left in them!

The shampoo is lathering up nicely, and while you indulge in the great scent while washing your hair, the shampoo takes care of the rest. It restores moisture, makes your hair soft and shiny, while protecting your hair color against brassiness and UV light fading, making its shine super vibrant! The conditioner is creamy and luxurious, it makes the hair super smooth, which you can already feel while rinsing it out. The scent is my favorite feature overall, it will last and last not only while washing, as many other products’ scents are already gone after your hair dries up, but this shampoo and conditioner’s scent will last the whole day and even the next day it still smells great, and I’m still always glad to get a whiff of it now and then throughout the day.

I love how these products pampered me and my hair. My hair is straight, long, and color treated every couple of weeks, which leaves it frizzy and damaged. I’m also using red hair dye, which is a hard to keep looking vibrant color anyways. I switch shampoo and conditioner brands quite often to find the right brands to revive my hair’s look. But it is kind of hard to find the shampoo and conditioner that do not weigh the hair down while trying to make it look smoother, and instead making it look like it need to get washed again only after a couple of hours. I have rarely seen my hair look so shiny and healthy, while feeling smooth, sleek, and having my hair color look vibrant. I received quite a few compliments about how good my hair looks, thanks to the Fekkai Technician Color Care shampoo and conditioner!

I have never used the Fekkai brand before but am honestly very impressed and happy with the results I got. I have to admit I actually fell in love with the Fekkai Technician Color Care shampoo & conditioner! I recommend trying it out for yourselves and honor yourself and your beauty with a little pampering that you so well deserve!

BzzCampaign - Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Facial Cleanser and Daily Moisturizing Cream

As a BzzAgent I received full size products for free to test and review. I was recently selected for the Burt’s Bees Sensitive skin line BzzCampaign which I enjoyed being a part of very much.

The BzzKit I received included a full size Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser, a full size Daily Moisturizing Cream, a BzzGuide and BzzAgent letter for me to help me create some Bzz, and also several samples of the Daily Moisturizing Cream plus coupons to pass along. Now on to a little background story about me: Ever since I was a teenager my facial skin has always been very sensitive and still easily breaks out today. I am constantly searching for the perfect facial product for my skin that are gentle, yet fight breakouts successfully. I tried a lot of different facial cleansers already and think it's hard to find one that works for me.

Now on to a little more valuable information about the products in the new Burt’s Bees Natural Skin Solutions for Sensitive Skin line you all might want to know. All products are 99% natural and gentle enough for daily use. They are fragrance-free, hypo-allergenic, dermatologist-tested and allergy-tested. Burt's Bees has also made a point in never testing their products on animals ever since they came into business over 25 years ago! All products in this line contain cotton extract to soften and help replenish the skin’s outer layer. Cotton extract includes seven sugars which help improve the skin’s barrier function, reduce skin redness and increase production of keratin, which is the key material that makes up the outer layer of the skin, gives strength, flexibility and its water-retaining capabilities. Cotton extract increases softness, suppleness of the skin and helps even out the skin tone. You can find the Burt's Bees Sensitive Skin line in mass retailers like walmart and Target, drugstores, grocery stores, and natural health stores. Depending on your skin's needs you can choose between facial cleanser, daily moisturizer, eye cream and night cream. Price ranges between $9.99 and $14.99.

The Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser is a soap-free, very cream like cleanser, that is clinically proven to moisturize sensitive skin. It gently cleanses away dirt and make-up without over drying, irritating or causing redness. It has a nice texture and left my skin super soft after use! It’s almost completely non-foaming, which took me a little while to get used to since I usually use foaming cleansers.

The Burt’s Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizer is a weight-less lotion that will not clog your pores up. The aloe in it soothes your skin and the rice extract keeps skin moisturized all day long, which is a great lotion especially right now in winter. What I really liked about this lotion is that it did not leave any oily residue behind and absorbed completely into my skin. I usually avoid lotions on my face because my skin responds to them almost always very sensitive and breaks out like crazy.

My opinion of both products: I enjoyed using the cleanser and moisturizer very much! I loved how clean, soft and renewed my skin felt. The only negative thing I experienced is that I had lots of little breakouts after a few weeks because this cleanser lacks an anti-breakout additive. I'm sure this is not caused by these products, but rather because my skin is extra sensitive during this pregnancy and my hormones are a little whacky.

My rating for these products: 4 out of 5 stars!

My review for the Lawry's BzzCampaign

As a BzzAgent I get the opportunity to receive products for free to sample them and share my honest opinion about them with the company, with BzzAgent and with all of you.

I was recently selected and asked to join the Lawry’s BzzCampaign, which of course I couldn’t say no to. I’ve been using Lawry’s products for many years and it is one of my favorite brands for cooking.

I received a great BzzKit, which included a BzzAgent letter for me, an official BzzGuide with information about the BzzCampaign, a small bottle of Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, three packages seasoning mixes (Taco, Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala, and Southwest Chicken Skillet), coupons for the seasoned salt and for the seasoning mixes to hand out, and last but not least there was a cute Lawry’s apron included, which was a nice surprise!

I already was familiar with the seasoned salt and taco seasoning mix. Both products are used regularly in my kitchen and enjoyed by our whole family. The seasoned salt is a great all around usable spice, just sprinkle it on your meat, in your soups and stews, on veggies and wherever you like! It’s really simple to turn a family dinner into a delicious experience just by using Lawry’s seasoned salt. The Lawry’s taco seasoning mix is our personal favorite for taco seasonings available out there, it’s flavor is rich and makes awesome tacos! I love making them with any kind of meat, ground meat, beef, pork or chicken all taste great with this.

The Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala was also really easy to make, just brown some chicken breast, remove from skillet, add water and seasoning mix, bring to a boil and return the chicken back to the skillet. The recipe on the package includes adding mushrooms to the skillet, but in my experience it would be a better choice to omit mushrooms, because my kids didn’t like it at all with them. I served it over rice which I enjoyed very much.

The Southwest Chicken Skillet was super delicious! The whole family just loved it! It had awesome flavor and was quick and easy to prepare. Lightly brown chicken breast pieces, stir in water, seasoning mix, beans, tomatoes, corn, and instant rice. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer. Just before serving sprinkle with cheese and let it melt.

All Lawry’s products I received and sampled are wonderful products that will help create perfect dinners in a short time, which is perfect if you are a busy mom or have little time to cook after work. I highly recommend Lawry’s and will continue being a loyal customer!

Review of the new TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner

I am a BzzAgent and as a member of the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize campaign I received one full-size bottle of each the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner to put them to the test and share my opinion about them with you in this review.

First of all, I love coloring my hair and usually re-color my hair every 4-6 weeks due to new hair growth at the roots and more importantly because most of the hair color looks stripped, flat and washed out by then.  Many people share the wrong belief that the causes of hair color fade might be the UV rays of the sun, salt and chlorine water, and pollution in the air. But this is not the case. Truth is, the number one reason of color fade is wash out!

TRESemmé® states for their new line of TRESemmé® Color Revitalize products: “Infused with advanced Color Lock Technology, new TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner protects hair for up to 40 washes, leaving hair shiny, vibrant and salon fresh. Think 40 washes seem like a long time? It is. In fact, it’s up to 8x longer vs. a non-conditioning shampoo.”

When I received my TRESemmé® Color Revitalize BzzKit a couple of weeks ago, it included a BzzAgent letter for me, a TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner BzzGuide with information about the products, a couple of coupons to pass along, and full-size 15 oz. bottles of TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner.

Using the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo, the first thing I noticed is that it had a wonderful scent. It is not a specific fruity or flowery scent, but just a more neutral scent which just smells nice and compliments the product. The shampoo is colorless, which is a nice change from other brands which claim to protect your hair color by adding red or any other coloring to the ingredients to make them look more like your hair color. The texture of the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo is nice and thick, which allows you to easily create a nice lather on your hair. You will be able to save and use less shampoo simply because this shampoo is very rich and sufficient. It got my hair squeaky clean. Rinsing it out was super easy and quick. But I really recommend the use of a good conditioner after shampooing, because it really tangled up my (over the shoulder length) hair.

The TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Conditioner has also a great scent. It feels more like a cream than other conditioners’ consistencies, and it is very, very rich. I found myself reducing the amount of conditioner I used for my hair each time I washed my hair, because even by using only a little bit, it worked great at detangling and smoothing my hair. Rinsing it out was also quick and I noticed how incredibly smooth my hair felt with the first use already. Being able to use so little conditioner for my hair I was left with an almost full bottle of conditioner after I had already finished all of the shampoo.

After my hair had dried, it looked shiny and smooth. The scent of the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner lasted hours after my hair dried, which is a feature I am really looking for in hair care products. Another advantage of TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner products is that they are available in two different sizes now - the new 15 oz. bottles, and larger family-size 32 oz. bottles. I personally prefer the bigger bottles because we are a big family and I always use my shampoo & conditioner for my children too. This was another great aspect for TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner: They did not irritate my children’s skin. One of the best aspects of these products is that they are rather inexpensive, and widely available in mass merchandisers, grocery and drug stores.

The negative aspect that I noticed for myself was that the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Conditioner seemed to be too heavy on my fine hair, weighing it down and making it look flat rather quickly. It did not matter if the hair was left naturally without anything in it or styled with other products. My hair looked flat, almost greasy at the end of the day, and there was no way that I would have considered to skip a day and go without washing my hair. It also caused my scalp to become very itchy which was very bothersome to me. I tried using only the TRESemmé® Color Revitalize Shampoo with a different conditioner to see if this was the cause and it helped a lot. Nonetheless, I continued using both products in order to evaluate the claim that the hair color would last up to 8x longer. In almost 15 years of coloring my hair and searching for hair care products to preserve the color longer, I have never been successful finding  them. As much as I enjoyed these products, I cannot attest to it keeping my hair color vibrant and fresh longer than other products.

Besides that, I will be continuing to use this shampoo and, of course, the other available products that TRESemmé® carries. I love TRESemmé®, you get high quality products at most affordable prices! And last but not least, TRESemmé® does not test their products on animals, which I appreciate very much!

The L'Oréal® Paris The One Sweep™ Eye Shadow and Double Extend™ Eye Illuminator Mascara BzzCampaign

I'm a BzzAgent and recently received a free sample of L'Oréal® Paris The One Sweep™ Eye Shadow and Double Extend™ Eye Illuminator Mascara.
I was very excited to try these two new products and review them for you.

The One Sweep™ Eye Shadow has a pretty neat new concept by having three colors in a curved palette which allows you to easily sweep t...he special curved applicator brush across the shadow and then align it with your lid and sweep across it to get a beautiful and easy professional look. The first application may be a little more difficult, but once you figure out the right way to apply it, you will always look fabulous in no time.

 Forget about spending a lot of time in front of the mirror trying to achieve a professional look with different shades of eye shadow, worrying about if it will be even on both sides. Get the perfect look with one sweep!
The color has a nice ...shimmer to it and you can blend the colors perfectly together with the tip of the applicator brush. It is a long-lasting eye shadow that will not settle in the crease of your lids over time, which is another positive aspect why I like this product. I received the color Natural for Blue Eyes, which I think is beautiful just not the perfect match for myself.

 

Out of the two products I especially liked the Double Extend™ Eye Illuminator Mascara. This mascara is a double-ended mascara, which contains the black mascara on one side and a glitter color on the other end. I got to try out the Double Extend™ Eye Illuminator Mascara Black Crystal, which has black mascara plus clear top coat with glitter in it. I loved how the mascara lengthened my natural short lashes and separated the lashes instead of clumping them up like some other mascaras do. After applying the base black coat you immediately apply the glitter, either only on the tips of your lashes, for a nice every day look, or you can apply it all over your lashes for a glamorous evening look. I tried both methods and must say I do not really notice any difference to before applying the glitter coat. But I think this applies probably only to the clear crystal version of the mascara. I would also like the mascara brush better if it was a little longer and skinnier towards the tip, as I found it a little bit difficult to reach the smaller lashes at the inner corner of the eyes.

I would recommend both products and will be buying them in different shades to see how those will fit me.
